Hemrin Eli: Changes are needed
Hemrin Eli, Co-chair of the Cizre Region Internal Affairs Committee, spoke to NuJINHA about their plans for the future and said, “Changes are needed.”

Qamishlo – The Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration in the Cizre region held its 6th meeting in the Amude district of Qamishlo, NE Syria. The members of the legislative council were elected at the meeting. Hemrin Eli was elected as the new co-chair of the Cizre Region Internal Affairs Committee, Ebdullah İsa Hiso was elected as the new co-chair of the Cizre Region Economy Committee, Fatme Hayil Eyub and Diyar Mihemed Maşuq İbrahim become the new co-chairs of the Cizre Region Youth and Sports Committee and Mazlum Şewket becomes the new co-chair of the Agriculture Committee. We spoke to Hemrin Eli, Co-chair of the Cizre Region Internal Affairs Committee, about the meeting.
Speaking about the purposes of the elections, Hemrin Eli told us that the meeting was held on April 6, 2022, upon the recommendation of the Cizre Region Executive Council. “Some changes were needed. Some people were proposed to the Executive Council. Five persons have been elected as the co-chairs of the five committees. At the meeting, I was elected as the co-chair of the Cizre Region Internal Affairs Committee. I want to duly perform my duties.”
Future plans
Giving information about the committee’s future plans, Hemrin Eli said, “We have to work hard to carry out the projects of the Autonomous Administration. We have many plans and programs to improve society. We have already approved some projects to improve working methods and provide services to the people. The projects will be put into practice soon. Our society needs changes.”
