News Center- A women's delegation from NE Syria went to Basque Country upon an official invitation from the Basque Regional Parliament, the 'Suargi' Association, and the Municipality of Durangoko.

The delegation of the Kongra Star, consisting of Nariman Evdike, the member of the Rojava Literary Committee Rawda Hesen, Co-chair of the Cizre Region Culture and Art Committee, and Menal Mihemed, the member of Kongra Star Diplomacy Committee, are holding a meeting with Laura Aznal, Arantxa Biurum, Blanca Requlez, Patricia Perales and Anihoa Aznarez now.

A statement about the meeting will be issued

During the meeting, the current situation in the two countries, as well as how to support women and society in NE Syria, and how to strengthen the relations between the Basque people and the people of Rojava were discussed. Members of the Basque parliament are expected to issue a statement about the meeting.
