The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented 34 criminal incidents in several Syrian cities during the current month of March, which resulted in the deaths of 40 people, including 5 children and 3 women, in an indicator that reflects the continued deterioration of security conditions and the escalation of crime rates in various areas of the country.

According to the documentation, the number of crimes and victims varied between cities, with the highest toll recorded in the city of Aleppo, followed by Deir ez-Zor and Idlib, in addition to scattered incidents in the Rif Dimashq, Hama, Homs, Raqqa, Damascus, Hasakah, Latakia, and Daraa governorates.
