News Center- An Israeli airstrike on the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis on Tuesday killed two people, including journalist Hassan Eslaih, and injured several other patients and staff, the Palestinian news agency WAFA reported.
According to the news agency, journalist Hassan Eslaih was receiving treatment at the complex when an Israeli airstrike targeted it.
The killing of Hassan Eslaih brings the number of journalists killed in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023 to 215, according to the Government Media Office in Gaza.
In a statement, the media office condemned the systematic targeting and killing of journalists in the Gaza Strip, calling on journalists all around the world to protest the crimes committed against journalists in the enclave.
“We hold the Israeli forces, the US administration, and the countries involved in the crime of genocide, such as the United Kingdom, Germany, and France, fully responsible for this horrific and brutal crime,” said the statement.
