News Center- The final hearing of the trial against journalist Nurcan Yalçın on charges of being affiliated with a terrorist organization and spreading terrorist propaganda was held today by the Diyarbakır 9th High Criminal Court. Nurcan Yalçın didn’t attend the hearing while her lawyer Resul Temur did. My client has the right to be a member of an association but her membership is cited as a crime. My client is a journalist. She has worked for a production company since the investigation was launched. She has been preparing video programs for channels. For this reason, my client visits many places and does interviews for video programs. She hasn't committed any crimes. I demand her acquittal. ” said her lawyer.
