15 Baha’i women were retried in the first Branch of the Revolutionary Court of Isfahan on September 25.
News Center- 15 Baha’i women were retried in the first Branch of the Revolutionary Court of Isfahan on September 25, 2024.
In May 2024, the Baha’i women were initially sentenced on charges of “educational and promotional activities against Islamic law” and were each sentenced to five years in prison, fines, and travel and social service bans.
The names of 15 Baha’i women are: Mojgan Pourshafi, Nasreen Khademi, Azita Rezvanikhah, Shole Ashouri, Mojdeh Bahamin, Bushra Motahar, Sara Shakib, Samira Shakib, Roya Azad Khosh, Noushin Hemmat, Shorangzis Bahamin, Sanaz Rasteh, Maryam Khorsandi, Firouzeh Rastinejad, and Farkhundeh Rezvan.
Mojgan Pourshafee, Nasreen Khademi, Rezvani-Khah, Roya Azad Khosh, Sara Shakib, Sanaz Raseh, Shole Ashouri, Mojgan Bahamin, Firouzeh Rastinejad, Maryam Khorsandi, and Noushin Hemmat were previously arrested in 2021 and later released on bail.
