Portrait of the day: Tsola Dragoycheva-Sonya
Tsola Nincheva Dragoychev (Sonya) was a Bulgarian politician of the Bulgarian Communist Party (BCP) between 1923 and 1925. After she spent eight years in prison, she became the party's central committee member; then he became politburo member.
She was known for her struggle against the Nazi occupation and the collaborative monarcho-fascist state. At the 4th Congress of the Communist International, Clara Zetkin cited the importance of women's organizations for communist work among women and the impact of women by showing women in Bulgaria.
