Women held in Zahedan Prison join ‘No to Executions Tuesdays’ campaign

Women prisoners held in Zahedan and Ezbaram prisons have joined the “No to Executions Tuesdays” campaign, hunger strikes, against the execution of dozens of political prisoners.

News Center- Women prisoners held in Zahedan and Ezbaram prisons have announced that they have joined the “No to Executions Tuesdays” campaign, which has entered its 64th day.

Dozens of political prisoners are at risk of execution, the women prisoners said in a statement on Tuesday, calling on international human rights organizations to be the voice of the people and prisoners in Iran. “Five political prisoners were executed in Vakilabad Prison in Mashhad on April 8 and April 9, after 10 years of imprisonment. On April 14, Ali Dehani, a 22-year-old Baloch prisoner, was executed in Zahedan Central Prison. At least 18 Baloch prisoners were executed in Iran between April 8 and April 14.”

Hundreds of political prisoners from 40 prisons across Iran have joined the campaign to protest the death penalty in Iran.
