With the Participation of 514 Families… The Fourth Return Convoy for Sari Kani Displaced Persons Sets Off

Hasakah governorate witnessed the launch of the fourth batch of return convoys for the displaced of Sari Kani/Ras al-Ain, Tal Tamr to their homes, completing three previous convoys that succeeded in returning thousands of families from displacement camps.

NEWS CENTER_The pace of governmental and societal effortsis accelenrating to secure the organized return of the displaced of Sari Kani/Ras al-Ain city to their homes, in a step that paves the way for achieving sustainable stability and enhancing societal integration, amid diligent efforts to rebuild life and rehabilitate infrastructure in the targeted areas.

The fourth batch of return convoys for the displaced of Sari Kani city and the Tal Tamr countryside to their homes and lands set off this morning. The convoy included about 514 families, with a total of 4584 people, and the launch of this batch witnessed the presence of an official government delegation.

This step comes within the framework of continuous governmental efforts to secure the return of all displaced persons to their homes, amid official affirmations of continuing to dispatch return convoys successively during the coming period until the completion of the return of all displaced families to their areas.

As for the third convoy, it included 3242 people distributed among 511 families of displaced persons who were temporarily residing in the “Washokani” camp and shelter centers inside Hasakah schools, where it was decided to distribute them upon arrival to settle again in several towns and villages in the southern countryside of Sari Kani city, which reflects the escalating pace of families wishing to end their displacement.
