The unity among the Kurdish people will be decisive in shaping the future of a democratic country, emphasized Nesrin Abdullah, one of the commanders of the Women’s Defense Units (YPJ). “We are experiencing a historic process because all the Kurdish people and forces have come together in Rojava Kurdistan today. This conference will have an influence on current developments. In addition, the role of women has become more prominent than ever at the conference.
