Sudan: RFS fighters kill at least 40 people in refugee camp
The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) attacked the Abu Shouk camp in Darfur on Monday, killing at least 40 civilians and injuring 19 others.

News Center- The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) carried out an attack on the Abu Shouk camp in el-Fasher, the capital of North Darfur state, on Monday, killing at least 40 civilians and injuring 19 others.
In a social media post, the local Emergency Response Room said the RSF stormed the camp, opening fire inside homes and on the streets. The camp hosts around 450,000 displaced people and has been attacked by the RSF many times since the conflict erupted in mid-April 2023.
The local resistance committee confirmed that at least 40 civilians had been killed in the attack, condemning what it called “horrific violations being committed against innocent, unarmed people”.
