Negar Misaghian released on bail

Negar Misaghian, a Baha'i citizen residing in Shiraz who was arrested on September 18, 2024, was released on bail on Sunday, after 11 days in detention.

News center- Negar Misaghian, a Baha’i citizen residing in Iran’s Shiraz city, was released on bail of three billion and 500 million tomans on Sunday.

 The mother of a two-year-old child, Negar Misaghian was arrested in a raid conducted by the agents from the Islamic Republic Guards Corps (IRGC) on her home in Shiraz on September 18 and transferred her to the Ministry of Intelligence’s detention facility in Shiraz, known as House No 100.

The agents also searched her home and confiscated her belongings, including her mobile phone, laptop, and passport.

She faces prison sentence on charges of “propaganda against the regime”.
