Underlining that they aim to visit village by village, district by district against the formed femicide, Zelal Bilgin said they wanted to raise awareness in the region. “We aim to come together with women by organizing activities. Recently, one or two women are killed every day. We see this as gendercide. Gendercide has reached an unprecedented level. The ruling party has taken no step to stop gendercide. We have prepared a program to visit village by village and district by district. We will try to raise awareness of women in villages and cities. Violence against women increases day by day. The struggle of women’s organizations has been targeted by being terrorized. We will spend the week of March 8 organizing our activities against gendercide, violence against women, and poverty.”
