News Center- Israel launched airstrikes on three military sites in the countryside of the Latakia and Tartus governorates of Syria on Friday night.

The Israeli military claimed responsibility for the airstrike, saying the airstrike had “struck weapon storage facilities containing coastal missiles that posed a threat to international and Israeli maritime freedom of navigation in the Latakia area of Syria”.

One person was killed and three others injured by an Israeli airstrike on the city of Latakia, the SANA news agency reported on Saturday.
