Israeli airstrikes kill six in eastern Lebanon
Two Israeli drone strikes targeted border areas in eastern Lebanon, killing and injuring several civilians in the past hours.

News Center - The attacks come amid rising security tensions along the Lebanese border and repeated violations of the ceasefire agreement.
Five people were killed Thursday morning when an Israeli airstrike hit a civilian vehicle on the Al-Masna’a International Road in eastern Lebanon, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health. The strike occurred in the Al-Masna’a border area, a key crossing between Lebanon and Syria, causing casualties and widespread panic among civilians.
In a separate incident, the National News Agency reported that another airstrike targeted the town of Kfardan in the Baalbek district of the Bekaa region, killing one person and bringing the total death toll to six.
These developments follow repeated breaches of the ceasefire agreement signed in November 2024 between Israel and Hezbollah, which has so far failed to halt military escalation, particularly with continued Israeli strikes on Lebanese territory, especially in southern regions.
