Israel-Iran conflict: Four ministers to hold talks in Geneva
Iran’s foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi will hold talks with Foreign ministers from the UK, France, and Germany in Geneva on Friday as Israel and Iran have been trading missile strikes for eight days.

Israeli fighter jets strike missile manufacturing industrial sites in Iran
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) released a statement on social media platform X on Friday that Israeli fighter jets struck several Iranian missile systems and radar installations in the areas of Isfahan and Tehran.
“Several industrial sites used to manufacture missiles were struck in the Tehran area. These sites served as a key industrial center for the Iranian Ministry of Defense. The SPND headquarters in Tehran were struck. This building was used for the development of advanced technologies and weapons supporting the Iranian regime's military capabilities,” the IDF said in the post.
Three Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps members killed in Israel’s strikes on the East Azerbaijan province, according to Iran’s state media, reporting that Israel attacked Tehran, Gilan, Golestan and East Azerbaijan provinces on Thursday night. According to Iranian media, Iran targeted Israel's Nevatim Air Base in the Negev Desert.
Israel threatens Khamenei
In an interview with the Kan public broadcaster on Thursday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel would not wait for a US green light to continue its military campaign against Iran.
In response to a question from Israeli broadcaster News 12 on Thursday about whether Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was a target, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said: “I have instructed that no one is immune.”
Israel also threatened Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, with Israel’s Defense Minister Israel Katz saying Khamenei “can no longer be allowed to exist”.
Diplomatic talks in Geneva
Iran’s foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi will hold talks with Foreign ministers from the UK, France, and Germany in Geneva on Friday.
The ministers of the UK, France and Germany will first meet with the European Union's top diplomat, Kaja Kallas, at Germany's permanent mission in Geneva, before holding a joint meeting with Iran's foreign minister.
“Now is the time to put a stop to the grave scenes in the Middle East and prevent a regional escalation that would benefit no one,” British Foreign Secretary David Lammy said in a post on Thursday.
