Hasti Amiri sentenced to 3 years in prison
Hasti Amiri, a student activist studying at Allameh Tabataba'i University, has been sentenced to three years in prison on charges of “spreading lies,” “propaganda against the regime," and “appearing without a hijab in public.”

News Center- Hasti Amiri, a student activist studying at Allameh Tabataba’i University in Tehran, has been sentenced to three years in prison, the student activist announced on her Instagram account on Monday.
According to her post, she has been sentenced to two years in prison and a fine of 50 million Tomans on charges of “spreading lies”, to one year in prison on charges of “propaganda against the regime” and to a fine of more than 3 million Tomans on charges of “appearing without a hijab in public”,
She has been banned from travelling abroad for two years and from being a member of political and social groups or organizations for two years.
