The director-general of Gaza's Health Ministry, Munir al-Bursh, announced on Sunday that Israeli tanks and bulldozers have surrounded the Indonesian Hospital in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza. Several patients inside the hospital were injured by Israeli gunfire, Munir al-Bursh said, warning that Israeli troops continue to surround the hospital, putting both patients and medical staff at risk. He also urged the international community to provide immediate protection for medical personnel, patients, and the wounded inside the hospital.
17 Palestinians killed early Monday morning
At least 17 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli airstrikes in the Gaza Strip since early Monday morning, the Palestinian news agency WAFA reported on Monday.
At least 53,339 Palestinians have been killed and 121,034 others injured in Israel’s attacks on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, according to Gaza’s Ministry of Health.
