Another journalist killed in Israeli attack on Gaza

Journalist Muhammad Abu Sharia, managing editor of Shams News Agency, was killed in an Israeli strike targeting his home, the Government Media Office in Gaza said in a statement on Monday.

153 journalists have been killed in Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, the media office added.

“Israel deliberately kills journalists in Gaza in order to silence the voice of Palestine, to hide the facts, and to prevent journalists from reporting in Gaza,” the media office said in its previous statements.
