However, police attacked a group of journalists and politicians, detaining Mesopotamia Agency (MA) reporters Ruken Polat, Özlem Yacan, Mazlum Engindeniz and Sema Yüce Polat; Ajansa Welat reporters Bazid Evran and Fırat Tunç; Jinnews reporter Memihan Zeydan; journalists Zelal Tunç, Oktay Candemir and Nimet Ölmez and many politicians.
