Politicians condemn operations launched against Shengal
Politicians react to the Turkish operations launched against Shengal and condemn the silence of the Federal Kurdistan Regional government and the Iraqi government.

Baghdad – While Turkey continues to launch military operations against Shengal, different segments of society keep reacting to the operations. Politicians in the Federal Kurdistan Region also react to the operations.
“Turkish President Tayyip Erdoğan has crossed the red line in Iraq,” political activist Macida Al-Ardawi said. She criticized the silence of the Federal Kurdistan Regional Government against the operations. Recalling that journalist Nisrin Husen was targeted in one of these operations; Macida Al-Ardawi said that targeting a female journalist was a great mistake.
“Iraqi government is a party to this crime”
El-Nehc Muhannad Al-Otaibi, Spokesperson of the Kurdish National Alliance, noted that Turkey has violated international conventions by attacking the Iraqi territory. “The silence of the Iraqi government shows that it is a party to this crime,” she said.
Politician Muhammad Al-Shabki stated that Turkey's aim is to allow Mosul to be attacked by ISIS again.
