News Center- In June 2021, the secondary court of appeals in Istanbul decided that the case against writer Aslı Erdoğan on the charge of “making propaganda for a terrorist organization” should be reopened, despite her February 2020 acquittal due to a statute of limitations.

The first hearing of the retrial against her was held today by the Istanbul 23rd High Criminal Court. Aslı Erdoğan didn’t attend the hearing. The next hearing will be held on February 10, 2022.
