A disciplinary investigation has been launched against TJA Term Spokesperson Ayşe Gökkan by the administration of Diyarbakır Women’s Closed Prison for writing a petition to the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the problems she has faced in the prison.

Amed- The 22^nd hearing of the trial against Free Women’s Movement (TJA) Spokesperson Ayşe Gökkan was held by Diyarbakır 9^th High Criminal Court on September 13. During the hearing, the chief judge ordered police to remove Ayşe Gökhan’s lawyers from the hearing room. Police officers attacked the lawyers and forcibly removed them from the hearing room. The lawyers then entered the hearing room and demanded the judge recusal from the case, the court rejected the demand. The lawyers demanded the judge recusal again.

Lawyers to file a criminal complaint

Ayşe Gökkan wrote a petition to the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the problems she has faced in the prison and what had happened during the 22^nd hearing. The administration of Diyarbakır Women’s Closed Prison has launched a disciplinary investigation against Ayşe Gökkan for writing the petition. Muharrem Şahin, a lawyer of Ayşe Gökkan, reported that they will file a criminal complaint against the prison administration.
