In the past, most people sent cards to each other to celebrate special days but this culture has been disappeared in many countries but not in Palestine. Still, most Palestinians have sent special day cards to their friends, relatives.  Shehid El Hisin has produced colorful special day cards to make a living.

Gaza - Shehid El Hisin is a 21-year-old Palestinian woman. She began to make special day cards using colorful papers two years ago. She has shared the photos of her special day cards on her Instagram account to sell them. In this way, she makes a living without being dependent on anyone.

Shehid El Hisin said she began to make the special day cards by chance. When she saw colorful special day cards on the internet, she loved them and she decided to make them. Shortly, she became professional in making special day cards. Now, she has made a living by selling cards designed by her.

She told us that she has received many orders particularly during special days such as Ramadan Eid. For now, she has worked from home but she wants to open a shop to sell her products.
