3 women of Halabja earn their living by making face masks
A group of women in Halabja earn their living by making face masks and aprons for health care workers. The produced face masks are sent to schools and hospitals.

Halabja- Many people become unemployed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Some have to work for a low wage while some spend their days looking for a job. A group of women in Halabja launched a project called the Project of İom Group to earn their living by producing face masks and aprons for health care workers. The women began to work at 7 am every day.
“Women work six hours every day”
The project was launched by three women. Rojin Xusrew is one of them. “Women work six hours every day to earn a living. We send the produced masks to schools and hospitals.”

“We sew different sizes of face masks. We don’t waste any pieces of fabric. We use all pieces to sew face masks for children and adults. We work here to earn a living,” said Geşaw Seid, one of the women making face masks.
