Virginia Woolf was born in England on January 25, 1882. She struggled against society not allowing women to express themselves freely in that time. Her work entitled “A Room of One's Own” published in 1929 is one of the most important sources of feminist literature.
The works she wrote are considered important sources in feminist literature.
Woolf, who thought she expressed herself and existed by writing, died by drowning herself in the River Ouse at Lewes on March 28, 1941 at age 59.
