Melodies, dances and songs of resisting women...

African women danced, Afghan women sang the “El Pueblo Unido” song against the Taliban…

At the 3rd World Women’s Conference of grassroots women, women from many countries not only discuss finding solutions to their problems, but also share their cultures.

The 3rd World Women’s Conference of grassroots women, which is a great source of hope for all resisting women held in Tunisia, continues. The women participating in the conference from about 30 countries have discussed solutions, how they can strengthen their solidarity with each other to overcome the challenges faced by them and many more issues.

Yesterday, members of the Revolutionary Association of the Women of Afghanistan (RAWA) took to the stage and sang the “El Pueblo Unido” song in order to express their resistance against the Taliban. Their performance was greatly appreciated.

The African women also took to the stage by wearing their traditional clothes and danced.
