News Center- The 8th Martyr Berîtan Festival annually held in the Mahkmur refugee camp continues with great enthusiasm. On the first day of the festival, painting exhibitions were held, cultural products and local Kurdish dishes were promoted. In the evening, The documentary film entitled Hêza was screened at the festival.
“The revolution will be successful thanks to women”
Nadye Ozgun, one of the women, who watched the documentary film, said, “When I watched the documentary film, I saw the power, faith and will of women once again. What is important is to see the legacy left by women martyrs. I believe that the revolution led by women will be successful thanks to women. What the most affected me while watching the documentary film was how the women fighters resist all kinds of atrocities and do not accept surrender. This is very important for women. But as Kurdish women and Kurdish people, we should know that we have many enemies. We should unite and struggle against those who are the enemies of women and humanity.”
