Zenubiya Women's Community commemorates 2 Kurdish politicians

Zenubiya Women's Community commemorated Heva Al-Arabo and Delawar Al-Arabo, who were killed in a Turkish drone strike on North and East Syria.

News Center- Zenubiya Women's Community, a women’s organization in North and East Syria, held a commemoration for Salîhe Viyan (Heva Al-Arabo) coordinating member of Kongra Star, and Hogir Dirbêsiyê (Delawar Al-Arabo), a member of the Democratic Union Party (PYD), who were killed in a Turkish drone strike on North and East Syria.

The killing of Heva Al-Arabo was a loss for the women's movement, the community said in a statement. “Heva Al-Arabo was a symbol of sacrifice. She played an important role in establishing women’s organizations in the areas liberated from ISIS and made great efforts to strengthen the women’s freedom movement in those areas. Delawar Al-Arabo sacrificed himself for his people.”

 In the statement, the Zenubiya Women's Community vowed to follow in the footsteps of the martyrs and continue their struggle for freedom, justice and equality.
