Zahra Karami released from Evin prison

Zahra Karami, a resident of Tehran , was released from Evin prison on Tuesday after a session held by the Tehran Revolutionary Court regarding the charges against her.

News Center- Zahra Karami, a resident of Tehran, was released from Evin prison on bail after a session was held at Branch 26 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court regarding the charges against her.

On November 12, 2024, Zahra Karami was arrested and transferred to the women’s ward of Evin Prison by Iranian security forces.

Facing multiple charges, including “insulting the founder of the Islamic Republic and the Supreme Leader”, “propaganda against the regime”, “disturbing public opinion”, and “supporting Israeli positions on social media”, Zahra Karami was held in Evin prison for more than 40 days without trial.

She was released from prison pending the trial on Tuesday.
