Yazidi woman abducted by ISIS in 2014 reunited with her family
A 21-year-old Yazidi woman named Fawzia Amin Sido, who was abducted by ISIS in Shengal 10 years ago, has been rescued and reunited with her family, Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Thursday.
News Center- A 21-year-old Yazidi woman named Fawzia Amin Sido, who was abducted by ISIS in Shengal when she was 11, have been brought from a neighboring country to Iraq and reunited with her family through joint efforts of Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Iraqi National Intelligence Service, in coordination with the U.S. embassies in Baghdad and Amman, and the Jordanian authorities, Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Thursday.
The Yazidi woman, who was kidnapped by Da’esh terrorist organization, was transferred to several countries after efforts and follow-up that lasted for more than four months before her liberation yesterday, the ministry said.
