News Center- The oppressive policies of the Islamic Republic of Iran pave the way for gender-based violence and femicide. NuJINHA Persian compiled the data on femicide and suspicious death of women in Iran from local, national newspapers and news agencies from March 21, 2024 to April 20, 2024.

15 women and two children were killed, five women and two children died under suspicious circumstances and two women were executed in Iran between March 21 and April 20, 2024, according to the data of NuJINHA Persian.

The data of the NuJINHA Persian is as follows:

· March 26: A cardiologist died under suspicious circumstances at Noorabad Delfan Hospital in Lorestan Province.

· March 27: Former political prisoner Sara Tabrizi (20) died under suspicious circumstances after being summoned to Iran’s infamous Ministry of Intelligence.

·March 28: A young woman was executed in the Central Prison of Tabriz.

·March 29: A 34-year-old woman was killed by her husband in the city of Juybar.

·March 30: A woman was killed by her husband in the city of Semnan.

·April 1: An unidentified woman was killed by her father in one of the villages of Abadan, a city in Khuzestan province.

· April 2: A young woman was killed by her husband in the city of Tabriz.

·April 2: A young woman, a student at Yasouj University of Medical Sciences, died under suspicious circumstances.

·April 2: A woman was killed by her husband in the Bushehr province.

·April 3: Two children died under suspicious circumstances as a fire broke out in their house located in the Gapi village of Dargaz, a city in Iran’s Razavi Khorasan province. Their mother was seriously injured.

·April 3: A woman was killed by her husband in the city of Dargaz, Razavi Khorasan province.

·April 4: A 38-year-old woman was killed by her husband at the Urmia-Naqadeh transportation hub.

·April 8: Four members of a family, including two women and a 7- month-old baby, were killed by unknown people in the village of Qomqaleh, Mahabad.

·April 8: The dead body of a 7-year-old child identified as Elmira Zarei, who was reported missing a month ago, was found in Isfahan.

·April 9: A 27-year-old woman was killed by her brothers in the city of Ahvaz.

·April 11: A young woman identified as Sarveh Sarve died under suspicious circumstances in Javanrud.

·         April 13: A 19-year-old woman identified as Marjan Hajizadeh was executed in the Central Prison of Zanjan.

·April 15: A 59-year-old woman was killed by her husband in the city of Khomeyn.

·April 16: A 37-year-old woman was killed by her fiancé in Tehran.

·April 18: A 43-year-old woman was killed by her husband in Isfahan.

·April 18: A young woman was killed by her brother in the city of Saravan.

· April 18: A young woman identified as Nagin Bahram died under suspicious circumstances in the city of Kermanshah.

·April 19: A 50-year-old woman was killed by her customer at her shop in the city of Shiraz
