Türkiye: 16 women killed by men in February
In February 2025, 16 women were killed by men and 21 more died under suspicious circumstances in Türkiye, said a report released by the We Will Stop Femicide Platform.
News Center- We Will Stop Femicide Platform (Kadın Cinayetlerini Durduracağız Platformu-KCDP) has released its February 2025 report on femicide in Türkiye. 16 women were killed by men and 21 more died under suspicious circumstances in February, the report said.
According to the report, 25% of the women were killed by their husbands, 69% of them were killed at their homes and 56% of them were shot dead.
