Turkish artillery shelling kills one child, injures two civilians

A one-year-old child was killed and a 20-year-old woman and one child in a Turkish artillery shelling targeting the village of Al-Jammas in the eastern countryside of Ain Issa on Sunday.

On Sunday, a Turkish artillery shelling targeting the village of Al-Jammas in the eastern countryside of Ain Issa city, northeastern Syria, killing a one-year-old child identified as Abdul Rahman Ismail Hussein and injuring a 20-year-old woman identified as Arej Khaled Al-Hussein and a child identified as Asia Hamad Al-Hussein.

 The Turkish state and Turkish-backed factions have intensified their attacks on North and East Syria since November 27, 2024, killing dozens of civilians, mostly women and children and targeting civilian infrastructure.
