Thousands marched in Kobanê on Monday to protest Turkish attacks targeting civilians. “We will resist to the end,” said Eyşe Efendi, Spokesperson of “Initiative- Freedom for Öcalan” in the Euphrates Canton, northeastern Syria.

Kobanê-A Turkish drone strike on the Berxbotan village of Kobanê on Sunday night killed nine family members, seven siblings and their parents and injured two other children.
Thousands held a march from the Free Women Square to the Martyr Egîd Square in the city of Kobanê to protest and condemn the massacre and the ongoing Turkish attacks on the region.
After the march, Eyşe Efendi, Spokesperson of “Initiative- Freedom for Öcalan” in the Euphrates Canton, northeastern Syria, made a speech, stressing that their resistance against the attacks and massacres by the Turkish state would continue.
In her speech, Eyşe Efendi recalled that the people of Kobanê had resisted and defeated ISIS and said, “Like all people, the people of Kobanê deserve to have a free and peaceful life. However, the occupying Turkish state carried out a massacre against civilians in Kobanê last night. We condemn this atrocity. Everyone must rise up and say ‘No’ to the Turkish occupation now.
“We are strong because we get our strength from our will and our martyrs. Therefore, no one can annihilate us. We will resist to the end.”
Thousands ended the march, chanting the “Şehit Namirin (English: Martyrs are Immortal)” slogan.
