News Center- 227 women have been killed across Syria since the beginning of 2024, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported on Tuesday.

Out of 227 women, 82 women were directly targeted and killed; 27 women were killed in mine explosions; 14 women were killed by Turkish forces and Turkish-backed factions; three were killed by ISIS and 91 women were killed in various circumstances and locations across Syria, according to the SOHR.
