Sakineh Parvaneh denied family contact

Sakineh Parvaneh, a Kurdish political activist imprisoned in Evin prison, has been denied family contact for starting a hunger strike.

News Center- Sakineh Parvaneh, a Kurdish political activist imprisoned in Evin prison, has been reportedly denied family contact for three weeks for starting a hunger strike on the second death anniversary of Jina Mahsa Amini.

Sakineh Parvaneh  was arrested after visiting the grave of Ali Mozafari, one of the martyrs of the revolutionary uprising of "Jin, Jiyan,Azadi" in the city of Quchan and was transferred to the IRGC intelligence detention center of this city.

She was then transferred to Vakil Abad prison in Mashhad after twelve days of detention. She was sentenced to seven years and six months in prison by the first branch of the Revolutionary Court of Mashhad. She has been serving her prison sentence since April 2023.
