News Center- In recent years, child labor has increased in Turkey amid work environments lacking safety conditions, exposing them to fatal accidents, perpetuating their depriviation of education, and deepening the social and economic crises affecting the most vulnerable families.

A report by the Health and Safety (ISIG), covering the period from September 2025 to last August, stated that 95 working children died during this period, including 14 refugee children.

The “Child Labor Deaths” report issued by the organization also explained that the causes of deaths were distributed as follows: 18% because of collapse, 17% due to traffic accidents, and 16% as a result of suffocation and poisoning.
