Raja Dahmani elected as new president of ATFD

Raja Dahmani has been elected as new president of the Tunisian Association of Democratic Women (ATFD).

News Center- The Tunisian Association of Democratic Women (French: Association Tunisienne des Femmes Démocrates, ATFD) held its 14th congress between November 3 and 4, 2024. At the congress, Raja Dahmani was elected as new president of the association.

The newly elected members are:

Hela Ben Salem (Secretary-General); Souhayr Driss (treasurer); Fethia Saïdi (responsible for communication and information); Ahlem Besaroual (responsible for education and culture); Yosra Daâloul (responsible for legal affairs); Fetiha Saidi (responsible for media); Ines Chihaoui (responsible for health); Moufida Bchir (responsible for economic, social and cultural rights); Nadia Benhamed (responsible for external relations).

The Tunisian Association of Democratic Women was officially founded in Tunisia on August 6, 1989. It is an independent feminist organization working for the elimination of all forms of discrimination against women and for achieving gender equality and fighting against gender-based violence.
