News Center- Turkish police conducted dawn house raids in the city of Van on Tuesday, detaining many people, including Peoples’ Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) Provincial Co-chairs Gülşen Kurt and Veysi Dilekçi and Association of Assistance and Solidarity with Families Who Lost Their Relatives in the Cradle of Civilizations (MEBYA-DER) Co-chair Hanım Kaya.

The reasons for the detention and the number of detained people are still unknown.
