A 5.9 magnitude earthquake hit Malatya in the morning of Wednesday, felt in surrounding cities.
News Center- A 5.9 magnitude earthquake hit Kale, a district of Malatya, at 10.46 am on Wednesday, according to Türkiye’s Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD).
The earthquake was felt in surrounding cities and North and East Syria. The earthquake has caused panic in many cities while no statement has been issued regarding the casualties yet.
The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) has announced the magnitude of the earthquake as 6.1.
