Macedonia-The voices of women fighting against the attacks of the Turkish state and Turkish-backed factions on North and East Syria are heard all around the world. Following the message of solidarity by Italian women, some Macedonian women also sent video messages, expressing their solidarity with the women of North and East Syria.

‘We support the revolutionary women of Rojava’

“We support the revolutionary women of Rojava,” said Salty and Ana Minova, two Macedonian women, indicating that they are aware of the resistance in North and East Syria. “Your resistance inspires us to fight and gives us the strength to resist for a more just and equal world. Kobanê, which is at the forefront of the resistance, is the symbol of the struggle for freedom. We must raise our voices together against the ongoing attacks (on North and East Syria). Now, Rojava and Kobanê are attacked. Any attack on Rojava is an attack on democracy, women's freedom, and the free and ecological life of all people. We will prevail. We will succeed or succeed.”

Makime Lopez and Makedonka Nemakedonkovska, two women from Macedonia, chant the “Jin, Jiyan, Azadi” in their short video messages, expressing their solidarity with the women of Rojava.
