News Center- Kongra Star has released a written statement, condemning the ongoing Turkish attacks that have targeted and killed civilians in North and East Syria. “Targeting and killing civilians is a violation of all international conventions, especially human rights.”

In the statement, Kongra Star also condemned the international silence against the attacks. “We should say that the silence of the United Nations, the UN Security Council and all international organizations defending human rights means that they are a party to the crimes committed by the Turkish state in North and East Syria and it encourages the Turkish state to commit more crimes against civilians. Their silence is unacceptable.”

Kongra Star also called on the international community to “take urgent action against the Turkish attacks that target and kill civilians” and to launch an investigation into Turkish war crimes.
