Kobra Beiki returns to Evin prison
Kobra Beiki, a 70-year-old political prisoner, returned to Evin prison on Tuesday after the completion of her 7-day medical leave.

News Center- Kobra Beiki, a 70-year-old political prisoner, returned to Evin prison on Tuesday after the completion of her 7-day medical leave.
On March 19, 2025, she was temporarily released from Evin prison after being granted medical leave for seven days.
Kobra Beiki was arrested by security forces during the “Jin, Jiyan, Azadi” revolutionary uprising that sparked in Iran and Rojhelat Kurdistan following the killing of Jina Mahsa Amini in September 2022 and eventually released on bail from Qarchak Prison in Varamin.
She was sentenced to three years in prison by Branch 26 of the Revolutionary Court in Tehran on charges of “Propaganda against the regime” and “assembly and collusion against national security”
After her prison sentence was upheld by Iran’s Supreme Court, she was rearrested in October 2024 and transferred to the women's ward of Evin Prison to serve her three-year sentence.
