Istanbul- Journalist Kibriye Evren, who was taken into custody in a dawn house raid on February 9, was released last night by Kocaeli 1st Criminal Court of Peace.

 The journalist was accused of “membership in a (terrorist) organization” and “providing financial support to a (terrorist) organization” for transferring money to her friends in prison in 2021. After being held in detention for three days, she was referred to Kocaeli Courthouse yesterday.

 She was released by Kocaeli 1st Criminal court of Peace last night.
