Israel prevents over 150 Gazan children from receiving treatment abroad

A plan to send some 150 sick Gazan children to the United Arab Emirates for treatment has been postponed by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, according to reports.

News Center- Israel has been waging a war on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023.

150 cisk Gazan children had been prepared to be flown out to the United Arab Emirates on Monday morning to receive treatment; however, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has decided to prevent about 150 sick and wounded Palestinian children from leaving Gaza for the United Arab Emirates to receive treatment, the Kan, Israeli state-owned TV channel, reported on Sunday.

The move came after the Hezbollah rocket attack on the Golan that killed 12 people, including children, and injured 35 others on Saturday. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned that Hezbollah “will pay a heavy price for this attack, one that it has not paid so far.”
