Iran top court upholds death sentences for two protesters
The Iranian regime continues to sentence protesters to death. Iran's Supreme Court has upheld the death sentences for two protesters for participating in the nationwide protests.
News Center - 16 citizens were arrested for participating in the 40th day anniversary of Hadis Najafi, who died after being struck by gunfire on September 21, 2022 in Mehrshahr, Karaj. Five of them were sentenced to death. Iran's Supreme Court has upheld the death sentence for two protesters named Mohammad Mehdi Karami and Sayid Mohammad Hosseini.
The same court has reportedly annulled the death sentences for Iranian radiologist Hamid Qarahasanlou, Hossein Mohammadi and Reza Arya.
Other arrested people have reportedly received long prison sentences.
