News Center- The Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) released its November report on Sunday, highlighting cases of human rights violations in Kurdistan and violations of the rights of Kurdish civilians in different regions and cities across Iran.

In November, at least 15 prisoners were executed and at least 21 people, at least 21 people, including activists and children, were arrested in Iran, the report said.

Femicide

According to the report, two women were killed by men in November: One woman was killed by her husband by a blow to the head due to alleged “family disputes” and a 46-year-old woman was stabbed to death by her husband due to alleged “family disputes”.

Three Kolbars were shot by border guards, one suffered from ankle injury as result of a landmine explosion in Nowsud and one suffered from a sudden cardiac arrest while carrying goods on their back across the borders of Iran. A man identified as Ahmad Ali Mohammadi was killed in a landmine explosion in Ilam.

Arrests and sentences

According to the report, at least 21 people, including activists and children, were arrested in November and seven detained people were sent to prisons in Mahabad, Tehran, Sanandaj, Marivan and Oshnavieh to serve their sentences. Iran sentenced five people to death in November and seven people to up to five years in prison.

Warisha Moradi (Verisheh Moradi), a Kurdish political prisoner and a member of the East Kurdistan Free Women Society (KJAR), was among those sentenced to death. On November 10, she was sentenced to death by Branch 15 of the Islamic Revolutionary Court in Tehran on charges of “armed insurrection” (baghi).
