Home raids in Izmir: At least 13 people detained
Turkish police raided many homes in Izmir in the morning. At least 13 people, including Peace Mothers, have been taken into custody.
Izmir- In the morning, police raided many homes in Izmir province, detaining at least 13 people, including Peace Mothers and politicians. The detained people have been reportedly taken to the Çankaya Police Department Anti-Terrorism Branch.
The names of some detained people are: Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) İzmir Provincial administrator Mahsun Koç, HDP Party Assembly member Mehmet Sabri Gül, HDP administrators Hediye Korkut, Edibe Sincar, Gülizar Dağ, Nüfusa Ataç, Famile Arı, Elfedin Kol and Peace Mothers’ Initiative members Sultan Yağmekan, Hanife Gümüş, Ayten Gülmez, Zeynep Çelik and Fatma Sürme.
