News Center-13 people have been killed in Jiroft, a city of Iran’s Kerman province, due to heavy rains and flash floods on Monday, the governor of Jiroft city told journalists at a press conference.

The governor also said that two people were missing. Three women and 11 children are among the killed and missed people, according to local reports.

One of the killed people is an Iranian citizen while the others are Afghan citizens, according to the governor. 16 search and rescue teams from the cities of Anbarabad, Kahnuj, Jiroft and Shahdad are on the ground, searching for the missing.
